There are numerous ways of monetising your blog; affiliate links being one of them and Skimlinks is a simple, fuss-free way of doing this. Many advertisers are difficult to install, but Skimlinks take your content and automatically provide relevant links to key words you use.
As a business owner, you want to make money, and as a blogger, you don’t want to annoy your readers. That’s why I love Skimlinks, as they place relevant adverts on my site and provide me with an income, month in and month out.
HOW SKIMLINKS WORKS
Once you register, you’ll get instant access to over 20,000 affiliate programs without the hassle of having to sign up for individual programs. So unlink other advertisers, you aren’t waiting around for approval from multiple merchants.
Registering is a really simple process and if you want to just spend some time setting it up and then get back to blogging, Skimlinks is the best affiliate program to join. Is is fuss-free and takes no time out of your blogging schedule to set up affiliate links manually. They also automatically turn any existing links into affiliate links where they have an advertiser on board.
If you have more than one website then you can add them onto your account too, therefore increasing your earning potential.

SKIMLINKS PAYMENT THRESHOLD AND GETTING PAID
Skimlinks have a payment threshold of £50 and it’s worth noting that it is one of the slowest payers.
Payments are made every month once commission has been cleared, which can takes around 90 days to clear. So anything you earn in January is paid in April – providing you met the £50 minimum threshold. If you earned £30 in January and £20 in February, you can expect to be paid £50 in May.
Payments are made via Paypal or BACS; you decide.
You can also take part in online surveys to top up your affiliate income. This is something I do quite often!
